1 - 3 September 2011 - Conference "BIG ISSUES: Inspirational Thinking"
Anatole was invited to be one of the panel experts and the closing speaker in the final session of the Conference titled: "BIG Issues: Inspirational Thinking". The conference is to be held in Melbourne, Australia in September to an echelon of global business leaders with a line-up of world-class speakers, including the previous Prime Minister of Australia, Paul Keating. The conference is being organised especially for one of the world's most powerful networks, the World Presidents' Organisation (WPO) and the Young Presidents' Organisation (YPO). They have a network of successful business leaders in over a 100 countries, in every business sector.
The WPO (World Presidents’ Organization) is a global organization of more than 4,600 business leaders who are or have been chief executive officers of major companies and who are “graduates” of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization). YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) is a global network of successful young chief executives. It was Founded in 1950 in New York City by a young president named Ray Hickok, the organization unites around 18,000 business leaders in more than 100 countries around a shared mission: Better Leaders Through Education and Idea Exchange™.
The final session was titled:
"Big Thinkers & Inspirational Ideas"
This session will examine various inspirational issues. How do these issues change the way we as a society look at the World? How does it affect my family, my community and my business? We will consider what kind of world we want to leave for our children and what contribution you can make.
The panel also includes Dr Joseph Ciarrochi – one of the world’s most cited researchers in emotional intelligence and Associate Professor, School of Psychology at the University of Wollongong. Plus, Dr Wade Davis, an ethnographer, writer, photographer, and filmmaker, he holds degrees in anthropology and biology and received his Ph.D. in ethnobotany, all from Harvard University, and by Medard Gabel who co-founded the World Game Institute with Dr Buckminster Fuller and is currently designing the "Dashboard for Spaceship Earth" for the lobby of the United Nations Building in Manhattan.
Anatole's topic was "Science & Metaphysics: Mind | Heart | Body | Inner Spirit"

4 August 2011 - Global Valve Technology Limited
The GVT Dual Check Valve was launched by Watts Water USA under licence into the market in New York last week! This constitutes somewhat of a milestone for Global Valve Technology Limited (GVT).
The company was established by Anatole in 1999 and he remains on the GVT Board of Directors.
During 2009/11 GVT was also one amongst a substantial field of applicants, to have been selected as one of the few winners under the Federal Governments Climate Ready Program. The project value is AUD$1 million. The project addresses the impact of climate change by decreasing pumping energy consumption and the creation of CO2 Emissions.
